About Say It!

Say It!: Story-telling as Organizing is a weblog featuring the work, thoughts, research, and voices of 15 youth organizers at Seattle Young People’s Project who are listening to the struggles, realities, and experiences of youth communities in Seattle and sharing their stories with you.

For us, story-telling is political. Every story raises young people’s voices, sheds light on their most pressing issues, and inspires visions and strategies for local social change. These stories are political beginnings of the political change we want to make in our homes, neighborhoods, communities, schools, and worlds.

Read on. Share your thoughts (yes, that means write a comment)! And, join the struggle.
